Polytech and its subsidiaries employ around 400 people and deliver components and products to the windmill industry in Denmark. Polytech has its production in Esbjerg and a test center in Herning. Due to lower demand from the windmill industry, where several large companies are in crisis, Polytech plans to dismiss 80 of their 400 employees at the end of August 2022 in Bramming. The dismissals has not yet taken place, but the company has started negotiations with the relevant trade unions. Polytech hopes that the crisis in the windmill industry will pass and the sector will recover in 2024.
