Description
The German supermarket chain Aldi will open more than 20 stores in Portugal by the end of 2022. With an investment of €150 million, the company will recruit 450 workers by the end of the year. Currently, AlDI employs 2,500 people in Portugal in 109 stores. It plans to have 200 stores by 2025. At the same time, ALDI has also invested € 60 million in a logistics centre and will spend a further € 50million in a new facility in Santo Tirso, North Portugal.
