Description
The Norwegian company for restaurants and nightlife Flott Gjort will hire 200 employees in cooking and waitering. The company is expanding to 13 new locations in 2022, whereby 10 of these locations are in Oslo. The company seeks to secure NOK 75 million with this expansion. During the pandemic, the restaurant industry had a decline in employment of 20 percent, and the company expects that it will be challenging to recruit in this industry. Flott Gjort has a plan for recruitment that involves being an attractive workplace by allowing the employees to adapt working life to the different phases of their lives. The company also has plans to establish an academy for restaurant operators, cooks and waiters in cooperation with other industry actors in order to give people career opportunities.
Flott Gjort was established in 2021, and has 12 employees as of today.
