Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
International supply chain management and e-commerce service provider Arvato Supply Chain Solutions has announced that it will create 300 jobs at its distribution centre in Stryków near Łódź. The capacity of the warehouse in Stryków has been expanded by 30 percent, allowing Arvato to handle H&M e-commerce.
Headquartered in Germany, Arvato is a global services company; its services include customer support, information technology, logistics, and finance. Arvato has been operating in Poland for 27 years. It has 16 distribution centres in the country, where it employs 2,500 people.
