Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish clothing retailer LPP has announced that it has established a new company- LPP Logistics- which is currently recruiting 1,000 people. LPP Logistics is responsible for managing the supply and distribution network and has started its operation at the beginning of August 2022. The company is looking for employees to work at its distribution centre, which is still under construction, in Jasionka near Rzeszow. This new centre will be part of LPP Logistics's network of e-commerce warehouses in Poland. The company is looking for sea and road forwarders, customs agents, engineers, e-commerce logisticians, analysts, electricians and maintenance electromechanics.
LPP was founded in 1991, employs 24,000 people globally and operates in almost 40 countries located in Europe, Asia and Africa.
The most recent business expansion for LPP was in July 2021 with 500 jobs created (LPP-2021-PL).
