Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Vietnamese car manufacturer VinFast has announced the recruitment of 300 to 400 employees in 2022, for the opening of sales sites and repair workshops in France. The job creation figures were announced on 11 July, during the 'Choose France' summit organised by the French Presidency to attract foreign investors. The strategy for automotive distribution in Europe was presented by VinFast on the occasion of the EVS 35 exhibition dedicated to electromobility, which was held at Oslo (Norway) from 11 to 15 June. The manufacturer announced the opening of 50 shops in Europe in 2022, including 25 in Germany, 20 in France and 5 in the Netherlands. In addition to the first site in Paris, points of sale will open in Marseille, Nantes, Rennes, Nice, Montpellier), Aix-en-Provence and Metz in 2022. The names of the other cities covered will be announced later.
