Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish convenience store chain Żabka Polska announced that it will hire 200 people at its new logistics centre in Radzymin near Warsaw, Poland. The recruitment of employees has just started and the centre will begin operating in the first quarter of 2023. The company intends to recruit people with and without any previous experience in logistics. Zabka offers employment contracts, bonuses and transport allowances. The new warehouse will supply 3,500 stores and will help the chain to further develop in the eastern part of the country.
Żabka was founded in 1998. It operates in Poland and Czech Republic. Currently, the company has over 8,000 stores across Poland.
A formers business expansion was announced in April 2020, with 200 jobs created (Zabka-2020-PL).
