Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Wizz Air, a Hungarian low-cost passenger airline, plans to hire 200 people in Poland in 2022. The company plans to recruit crew members and pilots. New employees will have to take part in compulsory 6-week training. Ukrainians can also participate in the recruitment process. The reason behind the business expansion is the increased demand for air travel due to lifted restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2021, Wizz Air employed 3,960 people globally. Currently, the airline flies to more than 140 destinations in Europe, Asia (mainly the Middle East) and North Africa.
