Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
ERBUD, a construction company headquartered in Poland, has announced that it will hire around people in Ostaszew, near Torun, by the end of october. The reason for this business expansion is the installation of a new production line which will start operating at the beginning of 2023. It will allow the company to launch a new business segment, which is the production of wooden modular objects.
ERBUD was founded in 1990. The group employs almost 3,000 people worldwide. Besides Poland, it operates in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Norway.
Previous business expansion, which was the first stage of the investment in Poland, was announced in April 2021, with 200 jobs created (ERBUD-2021-PL).
