Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Hegelmann Poland, part of the international transportation and logistics company Hegelmann Group, has announced that it will hire 400 people in Zarska Wies, near Zgorzelec. The company is building a logistics centre 'Hegelmann Hub Poland' and plans to open it at the end of autumn 2022. The centre will offer professional services related to transportation (e.g., diagnostic station, car wash, varnishing), accommodation and food services for drivers and 60 office spaces for external transportation companies.
Hegelmann Group was founded in 1998 and employs 8,500 people globally. It operates in Europe.
