Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
US-based IT software research and development company GlobalLogic, a subsidiary of Hitachi group, has announced that it will create 120 new jobs in Gdansk. In June 2022, the company has opened its new office there and it represents its 8th centre in Poland. New positions are offered for IT specialists in the field of embedded systems development, cybersecurity, electronic devices system (IoT) and communication.
GlobalLogic, headquartered in California, employs over 20,000 people worldwide. The company has centres in 12 countries globally. In Poland, the company has been operating since 2015 and employs over 1,565 people.
Previous business expansion for Poland was announced in January 2022 with 500 jobs created (GlobalLogic-PL-2022).
