Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
A new medical centre Novel Clinic will be opened in Tallinn, Estonia in November 2022. The clinic will incorporate a diagnostics centre, blood laboratory, mental health centre, sleep diagnostics centre, outpatient treatment centre and provide also dental care, surgeries and rehabilitation. They will recruit 100 medical specialists and 30 administrative employees. As an employer, the clinic will promise opportunities for employees to develop into a top performer in their field by offering research-based cooperation with universities in Estonia as well as overseas. The recruitment has already started and by June, more than 30 employees have been hired.
The clinic's ambition is to expand into international markets – soon it is planned to open a clinic in Sweden and in the long term also in other Baltic countries.
