Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Longchamp- the company specialised in the design of leather and canvas handbags, travel goods and a wide range of fashion accessories- has announced the recruitment of around 100 people in 2022. New jobs will be in all its factories in France in the form of job dating, in particular at Segré, Château-Gontier, Ernée (Mayenne), at Pouzauges (Vendée) and at Rémalard (Orne). The company's production has returned to pre-COVID-19 crisis levels. The company is looking for people in leather goods production and offers in-house training. It is recruiting people with vocational qualifications (Certificat d'aptitude professionnelle- CAP)/Certificate of professional competence) and Bac pro (professional bachelor's degree), without excluding any profile.
Longchamp employs about 800 people in France.
