Description

Amazon has announced the recruitment of 3,000 employees in France in 2022. The company will reach a total workforce of 18,500 people in the country. The management claims to have created more than 10,000 permanent jobs in France over the past five years. New positions will be for all types of profiles, of all levels of skills and experience. The company is mainly looking for order pickers, maintenance technicians, supplier relations managers, data scientists, product managers or human resources managers. After 24 months on a permanent contract, the salary of an order picker is 26% higher than the minimum wage. The employees also have various bonus mechanisms. Amazon aims to open new sites in 2022: a large logistics centre and between 5 and 10 distribution agencies.

In 2021, Amazon announced to create 3,000 jobs (but finally hired 4,000 employees) (Amazon-2021-FR).  In 2019, Amazon  announced 1,800 recruitements (Amazon-2019-FR). In May 2018, Amazon created 500 positions in its warehouse site at Senlis (Oise) (Amazon-2018-FR).
