Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) plant in Nitra in Slovakia plans to create further 700 new jobs in autumn 2022. Business expansion is based on the start of three shifts working in the plant from september 2022. New jobs will be created in the production units at all levels: operators, professional experts, administrative, engineering positions and team leaders. The company has already hired and plans in the future to recruit Ukranian refugees.
Currently, 3,800 workers are employed in the plant and about one third of them are women.
