Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
French company providing logistic services LM Logistic has announced that it will hire 150 employees in Glogow. The reason for this job creation is the opening of a new logistic platform in Glogow, which will be their 13th plant in Poland. The company is mainly looking for warehouse employees and forklift operators. The hiring process does not require the candidates to have any proper qualifications or experience as the company will provide new employees with onboarding processes and the possibility to obtain a license to operate forklifts.
The company was founded in 1967 in France and currently operates in 14 countries and hires over 27,500 employees worldwide. In Poland, the company has been present for over 25 years.
Previous business expansion for Poland was announced in 2018, with 200 jobs created (LM-Logistic-2018-PL).
