Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
French company providing logistic services LM Logistic has opened a new warehouse in Wiskitki near Żyrardów and is hiring 100 new employees. The reason behind this job creation is to make its delivery chain more efficient as the new warehouse is located near A2 highway 35 kilometres from Warsaw. The company is looking for warehouse employees and forklift operators. The hiring process does not require the candidates to have any proper qualifications as the company provides new employees with onboarding processes.
The company was founded in 1967 in France and currently operates in 14 countries worldwide and hires over 27,500 employees. In Poland, the company has been present for over 25 years.
Previous business expansion for Poland was announced in February 2022, with 150 jobs created (LM-Logistic-2022-PL).
