Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Amber, a Romanian game development studio, announced plans to expand its operations by recruiting 100 people on permanent contracts by the end of 2022, at its Botosani centre (Botosani County). The Botosani centre provides Quality Assurance (testing) services for games developed or co-developed by Amber for various platforms - mobile, PC and consoles. The centre has 120 employees.
As the company identifies suitable projects and people, it will expand its range of services and specializations to cover programming, art and game design. Amber continues to look for talent in and around Botosani for several positions such as Junior Game Tester, QA Project Manager, QA Test Lead and HR.
Amber employs more than 1,000 people in offices in Bucharest, Botosani, Guadalajara, Montreal, Kyiv, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
