Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Swedish healthcare and e-healthcare service provider Kry plans to cut up to 100 job positions. The planned job cuts will affect Kry's administrative personnel working in Stockholm's main headquarters. Healthcare personnel is not affected by the job cuts. Instead, Kry will continue to recruit new healthcare personnel in Sweden and elsewhere in Europe and also open new healthcare centers in Sweden.
Kry was established in 2014 and the company has grown rapidly in the past years with the help of foreign venture capital. The market has changed in 2022 and according to the company, they and many other tech companies now need to take a step back and consider how they want to organise their businesses and how the investments can be used in the best possible way.
Kry has approximately 1,000 employees in Sweden. They have around 2,000 healthcare personnel in Sweden, Norway, Germany, UK, and France.
