Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
British tobacco products manufacturer Imperial Brands has announced to hire 100 workers. The reason behind the job creation is the opening of a business services centre in Warsaw, Poland, planned for Spring 2022. This office's main responsibility will be to support the company's global supply chain function. The hiring process for Imperial Brands Services has already begun, and the first employees will begin working in March 2022. The company is looking for a variety of experts in planning, logistics, quality assurance, and project management.
