Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Medical device company Arrotek will create 100 new jobs in Sligo with the expansion of its headquarters. Recruitment for the new roles will start soon. The new positions will be across all departments including design engineers and project managers, quality, production, finance, customer service and administration.
The company previously undertook a major recruitment process in 2020 and 2021, to expand its workforce.
Arrotek is a medical device designer and manufacturer founded in 2005. Its headquarters has been in Sligo since 2019.
