Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Lithuanian company NanoAvionics specialised in the manufacturing of small satellite buses is to create around 166 new jobs in Vilnius by the end of 2023. The company is currently moving to new premises and has plans to expand the scale of production and hire more employees. According to the management, the total number of employees should reach 200/230 by the end of 2022, and the company expects to have a team of 300 employees by the end of 2023. Currently, the company employs 134 employees.
NanoAvionics is a company delivering satellite buses and propulsion systems for the satellite applications market. In 2020, the company earned €7.4 million in revenue. It was established in Vilnius in 2014.
