Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The assistance company Opteven has announced the recruitment of 184 employees on permanent contracts in 2022, including 161 for the head office in Villeurbanne (Rhône) near Lyon. The other 23 positions will be created internationally. Opteven also intends to recruit 200 additional employees on fixed-term contracts. The profiles sought are diverse, ranging from assistance managers, project managers and automotive technicians to IT project managers, developers, accountants and digital marketing managers. As regards the 184 permanent positions, Opteven specifies that these are exclusively new positions. To recruit, Opteven is encouraging co-optation with a sponsorship bonus of up to €500 for its employees. The company offers teleworking to all employees: up to 2 days per week for employees and executives, and 6 days per month for managers.
