Irish multinational fast-fashion retailer Primark has announced to dismiss 240 people in managerial positions in Netherlands. The aim of the restructuring is to simplify the decision-making chain and achieve greater flexibility. The board is currently negotiating with the works council and unions for a social plan for the affected workers. However, new functions will also be introduced, and 200 new jobs will be created.
