Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Healthcare company Vitalograph is to create 200 new jobs in Ireland over the next two years, following a €10 million investment. The jobs will be based in counties Clare ad Limerick. The company will expand its base in Clare, where it currently employs 170 people, and will open a new site in Limerick. Recruitment for the new jobs has already begun and new positions are in data analysis, site support services, software engineering, quality assurance and IT support.
Vitalograph manufactures diagnostic respiratory devices and provides clinical drug trial services. It has been operating in Ennis Co. Clare since 1974.
