Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
US software company Guidewire is to create 150 new jobs over the next three years. The company has opened its new EMEA headquarters in Dublin, but the new roles will be hybrid or fully remote and are open to people across all Ireland. New positions are for entry-level graduates as well as for business analysts, cloud operations experts, consulting managers, engineers, HR specialists, project managers, cloud transition specialists, and technology consultants.
The Irish Government supports the company's expansion through IDA Ireland.
The company provides softwares to insurance companies. Currently, Guidewire employs about 450 people in Ireland.
