Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
CGI, a Canadian global information technology (IT) consulting, systems integration, outsourcing and solutions company, announced plans to expand its operations in Romania by recruiting 150 people on permanent contracts by the end of 2022. The Bucharest centre, the only centre that the company has in Romania, is focused on consultancy and software development. Positions are available for analysts and project managers. The hiring process in Romania is part of the company’s extending process across Europe. CGI intends to hire more than 5,000 employees in Europe in the coming years.
In Romania CGI currently has 150 employees who mainly serve French clients.
Globally, CGI has a workforce of approximately 82,000.
