Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Doctolib, a French company operating scheduling and teleconsultation of medical appointment, which has developed a website specialised in finding and booking appointments with health care practitioners, has raised €500 million in funding and has a long-term plan to create 3,500 new jobs in France, Germany, and Italy in the next five years. The company is looking for new premises to support this growth plan. By the end of 2022, the company has announced to create 150 new jobs in France(Doctolib 2022 - FR), 300 in Germany(Doctolib 2022 - DE) and 200 in Italy(Doctolib 2020 - IT).
Doctolib was founded in 2013 in France and has been operating in Germany since 2017 and in Italy since 2021. Currently, it employs 350 people in France, 600 in Germany and 200 in Italy.
