Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Jaguar Network, which is specialised in cloud data hosting and fibre access for businesses, has announced the recruitment of 100 to 150 positions by the end of 2022. The recruitments concern all the company's sites in France, namely Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Sophia Antipolis and Nantes. Jaguar Network, which belongs to the Iliad group since 2019, has 400 employees in France. The management explained that the development of the company is related to the delay in France's use of the cloud. Only 21% of French companies have migrated their critical applications to the cloud, compared to the European average of 26%. The aim of Jaguar Network is to develop an offer that would address these issues.
A former recruitment announcement has been recorded on the ERM Database in 2019, with 150 new jobs in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region (Jaguar Network-2019-FR).
