Description
The German group TUI, active in the travel and tourism business, announced it will hire 1500 new employees worldwide, with 455 vacancies in Germany. TUI hires new staff in all fields of its operations, including travel guides, child carers, fitness coaches, and entertainers as well as a larger number of IT workers. TUI wants to significantly expand its business again after huge losses during the COVID-19 pandemic when the company reduced its staff in Germany by roughly 1250. The German TUI group is running 1600 travel agencies, a number of online portals, five airlines with around 150 aircrafts, over 400 hotels, 16 cruise ships, and destination agencies in all major holiday countries around the world.
