The American fund Advent International, which bought Mangopay – a payment platform aimed at professionals (BtoB) – from the Crédit Mutuel Arkea group, has announced to recruit 250 people for the platform worldwide. Of 250, 150 positions will be created in France. In this way, Mangopay will double its workforce. New roles will be in engineering, production, sales, and customer service.
Advent International plans to invest €75 million in Mangopay, which operates in France, Spain, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Mangopay's ambition is to consolidate its position in Europe and to expand in the short term in Scandinavia, Portugal, and Poland.
Mangopay is an electronic money institution licensed to provide services in the European Union and employs 230 people across Europe.
