Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Embraeer, a Brasil-based aerospace company, will recruit 100 workers to integrate the team that operates at its factories located in the Aeronautical Industrial Park of Évora. The company is looking for mechanical adjusters, CNC technical operators, special process operators, mechanical plant assemblers and moulders.
For these 100 jobs, the starting base salary is €900 for skilled workers and €830 for unskilled professionals.
In addition to the monthly base salary, workers will have addictional benefits, such as health insurance for the employee and respective family, life insurance, transport allowance, meals (lunch/dinner and breakfast/snack) and differentiated protocols with national and regional companies.
