Aldi, an international supermarket chain, plans to hire more than 600 workers in Spain during the first semestor of 2022.
Over the year 2022, the supermarket chain plans to open 50 new supermarkets in various Spanish regions such as Andalusia, Catalonia, the Community of Madrid and the Community of Valencia, as well as expanding its presence in Galicia and arriving for the first time in Asturias and the Canary Islands.
This announcement comes after a continuous growth of the company during the past years. In 2021, the company created more than 1,000 jobs in Spain. Since 2019, Aldi has increased its workforce by 54%, which means the incorporation of more than 2,000 workers in the last three years.
