Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Bricoman Italia, an Italian company operating in the retail sale of household goods, is to open three stores in Italy, in Ravenna, Rimini and Capodrise (Caserta). Over 150 employees are to be hired in each shop, so the company is looking for 450 people. New positions will be for sales and checkout staff, warehouse workers, department heads, and shop managers.
The opening of the new shops is part of the new development plan for the company's commercial network, which aims to have 70 shops in Italy by 2030. Other openings are planned in Piemonte, Lazio, Lombardy and Sicilia by 2024.
Bricoman Italia was founded in 2008 and has just changed its name to Tecnomat.
