European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The American fried chicken chain KFC will open 50 restaurants in Ireland and the UK by the end of 2022 and wil create 1,500 new jobs. The company has just opened the 1,000th restaurant across UK and Ireland; these countries represent the company’s fastest growing markets outside the U.S. and China.
KFC was founded in Utah in 1952 and currently employs 27,000 people in the UK and Ireland.
