Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
American drug wholesale company AmerisourceBergen is to create around 500 new jobs in Vilnius by February 2027. The company has announced plans to expand its global business services centre in Vilnius. New positions will be in human resources, accounting, and information technology. During the COVID-19 pandemic, several new roles and functions have been created at the services centre in Vilnius. The company’s fastest-growing functions in Vilnius are in Customer Service, IT and Finance.
AmerisourceBergen provides pharmaceutical products, value-driving services and business solutions that improve access to care. The company started operating in Lithuania in 2017 and currently employs 190 employees in its global business services centre in Vilnius.
