Meliá, Spain's leading hotel chain company with 372 hotels and 45,000 employees worldwide (around 12000 in Spain), has announced a recruitment process to hire up to 1,200 workers for its hotels in the Balearic Islands. This announcement is motivated by the recovery of the tourism sector. The company is offering positions in reception, food and beverage, customer experience, chambermaids, activities and events, and technical services at its hotels in Mallorca, Menorca, and Ibiza. This announcement comes after the workforce adjustment plan of the company in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.
