Sports analytics company Stats Perform is to create 100 new jobs in Limerick by the end of 2022. New positions are both full and part-time roles: full-timers will be in business intelligence, learning and development, quality control, customer experience, and operations management; part-timers will be in rugby and soccer data operations. The company has just established a Global Rugby Centre of Excellence in Limerick City. The Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Leo Varadkar welcomed the news.
Stats Perform operates in 25 countries and delivers analysis and predictions for teams, bookmakers, and media using sports data and artificial intelligence. The company opened its EMEA base in Limerick in 2018 and until 2019 its name was STATS, before a merger with Perform.
Previous business expansion is recorded in the ERM database in 2017, with 130 job creations.
