Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Sisecam, a Turkish-owned glass product manufacturer, expands its plant in Aszód, Central Hungary. The investments entails the construction of a new warehouse and the purchase of and new equipment and will be completed until the end of 2022 and 100 new jobs will be created.
The investment cost is roughly €8 million, about 22% of which is covered by government subsidy under the aegis of the competitiveness increasing subsidy scheme.
Sisecam group is one of the major global glass product manufacturers. The Hungarian subsidiary produces glass products for the automotive industry. In addition to the Aszód plant, Sisecam intends to establish another plant in Kaposvár, Southern Transdanubia, by 2023.
