Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German construction, gardening and household equipment retailer OBI has announced that it will create 110 jobs at its new store in Częstochowa. The unit is expected will be opened in the second quarter of 2022 and will be the second OBI facility in the city. The recruitment process has been launched; both experienced staff and people without experience in the sector will be hired, as the company will provide special training for candidates.
OBI was founded in 1970. Currently, it has over 600 stores in Europe. OBI has been operating in Poland since 1998; it has 59 stores in 41 cities across the country.
