Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
International supply chain management and e-commerce service provider Arvato Supply Chain Solutions has announced that it will create 100 jobs at its logistics centre in Jasina, near Poznań, within the coming 12 months. Arvato has leased a new warehouse with a space of 20,000 square meters and will provide its services to GUESS, an American clothing brand and retailer.
Headquartered in Germany, Arvato is a global services company; its services include customer support, information technology, logistics, and finance. Arvato has been operating in Poland for 27 years; the company provides logistics services in 16 distribution centres across Poland and employs 2,500 people.
