Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
US-based IT software research and development company GlobalLogic, a subsidiary of Hitachi group, has announced that it will create 500 new jobs at its office in Wrocław in the next two years. New positions will be for specialists from the IT sector. In early January 2022, the company moved into a new office space in the city of Wrocław.
GlobalLogic, headquartered in California, employs over 20,000 people worldwide. The company has centres in 14 countries globally. In Poland, the company has been operating since 2015 and has its unit in the city of Wrocław, where over 500 employees are employed.
Previous business expansions for Poland were announced in March 2021 (200 jobs created) and October 2021 (100 jobs created).
