Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
A Lithuanian company Roteksas engaged in the design and production of non-standard equipment and structures from stainless steel is to create around 100 new jobs in Klaipeda in 2022. In 2020, the company leased two plots of land with a total area of 3.2 hectares and acquired manufacturing premises for bulky equipmen in the Klaipeda Free Economic Zone. The company intends to increase production capacity and will create 100 new jobs by the end of 2022. According to the management, the decision to expand was dictated by rapid growth of the company in recent years. The company is currently looking for project managers, engineer-designers, accountants, process managers, welders, assemblers and other production and administration specialists.
Roteksas is a Lithuanian company that designs, manufactures and assembles industrial production lines. Currently the company employs 33 employees in Klaipeda.
