Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
French logistics company FM Logistic has announced that it will create 250 new jobs at its logistic centre in Lędziny near Tychy. The company has just launched the second warehouse hall at the site, and it has started the second part of the recruitment process. FM Logistic is looking for warehouse staff and forklift drivers; both experienced staff and people without experience in the sector will be hired, as the company will provide special training for candidates. New employees will receive a benefit package, including private medical care.
FM Logistic provides warehousing, packaging, transport, and supply chain management services. The company operates in 14 countries and employs nearly 25,000 people. In Lędziny, the company currently employs 150 people.
Previous business expansions were announced in June 2021 (100 jobs created) and June 2021b (120 jobs created).
