Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The car producer company Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech (HMMC) is planning to hire 120 new employees at its headquarters in the Nošovice industrial zone. Job creations are to increase the production volume to pre-pandemic levels. Recruitment campaign has already started. The recruitment allowance of CZK 20,000 (€ 818) will be paid for manual workers.
The plant in Nošovice is the first and the only Hyundai manufacturing plant in the European Union. HMMC was established in 2006 and has historically been the largest foreign investment in the Czech Republic. Currently it produces up to 1400 cars a day and employs over 3,100 people.
