Description
Automotive company BMW announced to create 6,000 new jobs in 2022. The company confirmed that it wants to increase its workforce as demand for e-cars increased. In order to expand it e-mobility segment, BMW is looking for new personnel for its battery research, automated driving as well as software and IT development. Additional employees are also needed at the company's production site. In 2020, BMW had cut 6,000 jobs due to the decreasing demand for its products during the COVID-19 pandemic (BMW 2020).
Currently, the automotive manufacturer is employing 120,000 employees worldwide.
