Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Cité Marine, the company specialising in food processing and leader in the coated fish market, has announced the creation of 100 jobs in 2022, to cope with the expected growth in their activity. The new jobs will be for operators and line drivers. Positions will be opened at the Cité Marine site in Kervignac which already has 1,100 employees spread over three production units. The site's workforce has doubled in five years. According to the management, thanks to internal training, employees can develop through a career path within the company.
A previous business expansion was recorded in the ERM database with 100 job creations in 2017 (Cite Marine-2017-FR).
