Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The catamarans manufacturer Grand Large Yachting Méditerranée has announced the recruitment of 100 employees on permanent contracts at its site in La Grande Motte (Hérault). In the last two years, the demand for travels has increased and the company wants to expand its catamarans production capacity. Up to now, the company produced about thirty catamarans every year but more has to be done; the COVID-19 crisis has accelerated people's desires for leisure travels.
The company is looking for carpenters, assemblers, electricians, plumbers, painters, fitters, even without experience. The company will provide employees with training courses.
