Description
The automotive cable and electric systems producer KES Poland (Kabelové a elektrické systémy) is planning to dismiss up to 132 jobs throughout a collective dismissal programme at its production facility in Wodzisław Śląski. The programme is expected to be carried out between 1 November 2021 and 31 January 2022. The company produces over 1,400 types of cable harnesses for the electrical and automotive industries (such as Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini…). Shortages on the chip market and the downtime of production lines have affected the supply chain and led the company to suspend its operations at Wodzisław Śląski unit.
KES Poland was founded in Wodziław Śląski in autumn 2018.
