Animal health company Zoetis is to create 80 to 100 new jobs in Tullamore, Co Offaly, over the next three years. The company is expanding its manufacturing and development facility on the Offaly site. Some people will be recruited in late 2021. The expansion of the plant will increase the company’s capacity for producing veterinary monoclonal antibodies.
Zoetis employs about 450 people in Ireland, including 90 highly skilled scientists and technicians on the Tullamore site. The Tullamore site was acquired when Zoetis purchased Irish pet medication group Nexvet Biopharma in 2017.
